Meet Lauren Marie Sesselmann, the stunning ex

LAUREN MARIE SESSELMANN has forged an incredibly diverse career.

An Olympic medalist, international soccer star, and TV host, the 39-year-old's career has been filled with success.

Originally from Wisconsin, Sesselmann began playing soccer while at elementary school.

Eventually, she headed for Purdue where she set multiple school records and made the Big Ten's All-Conference First-Team as a forward, per her bio.

After graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor's in Marketing and Communications Sesselmann headed for F.C. Indiana.

Her professional career would also eventually see her play for Sky Blue F.C., Atlanta Beat, F.C. Kansas City, Houston Dash, and Santa Clarita Blue Heat.

Meanwhile, Sesselmann established herself as a regular for Canada - for whom she qualified for citizenship through her dad.

Between 2011 and 2015, she made 46 appearances, recording four assists.

During Sesselmann's international career, she was part of teams that won the 2011 XVI Pan American Games, finished second at the CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying tournament and at the Cyprus Women's Cup in 2012, and fifth at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

She also represented Canada at the 2012 Olympic Games in London where they won a bronze medal.

Most recently, Sesselmann played in The Soccer Tournament, where she reached the semi-finals with ZalaFFF playing with/against a number of fellow former professionals from around the world.

Outside of her playing career, she is also an agent for Doubled Sports, a mental health advocate, and recently she appeared on an episode of UNINTERRUPTED.
